Storm staked to the lead deer (male deer) and wiggled herself into position and pounced grabbing the back of it's neck. Storm felt her teeth touch together as she hung on for dear life.

.. Safire could tell that the elk (much different from a deer) was giving just two wolves trouble, so she decided to help out. Running derectly at the ELK and useing its blind spot she leaped into its back, climbed up its neck and tore at one of the ears. The elk swerved loosing its ballance because of its massive antlers and came crashing down head and flank first into the dirt.

Safire also latched onto some vital part of the downed elk, hoping it would die soon. The pack was becoming hungry and they had been gone a long time. This full grown elk was much bigger than any deer and would feed a lot of mouths.
